Staycation at Okada Manila Hotel

Last weekend, my mom brought us in Okada Manila for a hotel staycation to take advantage of the holiday and to celebrate my birthday. It was so surreal! The best hotel I’ve seen in my entire life so far in terms of aesthetics and overall experience. Seven stars, it is! There’s no way I’m not blogging about it.

Okada Manila Staycation Experience

This is Okada Manila in its beautiful and irregularly shaped architectural design.
We had Okada’s Afternoon High Tea Set with the flavor of the day – Sakura. Drinking fancy tea with an assortment of delicate desserts is heaven for a sweet tooth and tea lover like me! I loved everything that was served, even those savory sandwiches at the bottom of the tier.
A welcome message popped on the LCD screen in our bedroom.

We stayed in a two bed room suite that wowed us with its fascinating interior design. I felt like the room was meant for me because it’s pink all over!

The bath area/powder room is even more exciting. No words can describe the feeling I had as I entered and saw the luxurious jacuzzi waiting for me and a glass wall showing a bird’s eye view of Okada Manila’s fountain pool and all the buildings surrounding it. I was almost speechless and the only thing I could utter was “wow”. Just wow.

Left: Here’s my mom enjoying her bubble bath and what she sees as she looks up the ceiling. Right: Me sitting in the huge counter top smelling the bath fragrances.
There’s a mini pantry and a dressing room too! And a dining table upon request.
I was so glad the Chinese restaurant was full by the time we arrived because then, we had the chance to have our dinner served in our bedroom instead. I actually prefer to eat in the room. No crowd, no noise, just pure relaxation. The food was really really good!

Aside from the hotel rooms, Okada’s attractions are the lobby lounge to dine in, the casino, and some shops!

Thank God I was not born a millionaire living in a luxurious home such as this. Because if I was, I’d probably just wanna stay at home forever, tucked underneath the thick sheets watching TV and never go out.

For one day I felt like a princess! “But tomorrow’s back to reality.”

Thanks to my mom for bringing us here.
