My favorite activity during weekends? Believe it or not, it’s not just shopping. It is FOOD TRIP!!! Me and my friends all love to hangout over food. Who doesn’t love to anyways? Even when on diet, they’d still make excuses just to allow that slice of pizza in their tummy. Besides, it is CHEAT DAY!
Calling all foodies out there! Grab your friends and enjoy sumptious snacks and meals at the newest food hub and events place in Manila, Grub Garden. If you’re a Benildean or a La Sallista, or even just a Manileño, this will be your go to place everytime you wanna chill and satisfy your food cravings. From finger food to noodles to rice meals, they got them for ‘ya.
Last Friday, I was invited along with fellow bloggers to Grub Garden, which opened just October last year (2017). What a priviledge for a foodie like me! I wore an off the shoulder dressy top to hide the food baby that I was about to get. ‘Coz I was there not just to take photos and have my photos taken, but to enjoy all the mouthwatering goodness that is served more than anything else!
So here are each of the food stalls’ specialties. I was drooling as I take these photos.
Appetizers & Finger Food
What can you say guys? Can you still handle your cravings? You know where to go. All you need to bring is a huge appetite and a budget of at least Php250-400 per person to enjoy a variety of these.
- Come on Fridays after school or work and catch a live band performing. A great way to spend your #TGIF’s.
- Come early on weekends and shoot for your #ootd’s with their awesome backdrop!
Grub Garden is located at N.Dominga Street near Jollibee Vito Cruz and De La Salle College of St. Benilde. Very accessible for Manilenos.
If you’re from somewhere else, it is easily accessible via LRT if you’re not getting Grab/Uber. I went there from Quezon City via Uber which was convenient yet a very long one and a half hour drive due to traffic. And went home via LRT1-LRT2 which is a very fast ride but had to fall in a very long line (starting from Jollibee Taft) and had myself forced inside the train with a crowd of people barely breathing.
Despite my trouble in commuting, I still rated it with five stars, thumbs up and hearts!
